Russian Exotic Intensive — International Pole Convention (PoleCon)

Polina Zueva taught a special Russian Exotic Intensive at the International Pole Convention (PoleCon) in Hanover, Maryland, on May 29, 2025. Held at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland as part of PoleCon’s 2025 program, the intermediate session brought dancers together for an opportunity to train directly with Polina and explore her approach to Russian Exotic — combining strong technique, fluid transitions, heels work, musicality, and expressive movement.

The intensive focused on creating movement that feels both powerful and connected rather than treating tricks and choreography as separate skills. Students explored control, changes in dynamics, transitions, and the details that help technical movement flow naturally within a dance.

The workshop reflected Polina’s signature balance of strength, precision, and fluidity, giving participants new movement ideas and technical tools they could bring into their own choreography, freestyle, and performance practice.
