Russian Exotic Flow Workshop — AKPole Studio

Polina Zueva joined AKPole Studio in San Diego’s Pacific Beach as the studio’s first-ever guest workshop instructor, bringing her signature Russian Exotic style to the local pole community. The special workshop introduced students to Polina’s approach to Exotic Flow, blending choreography, technical control, musical interpretation, and expressive movement in heels.

The workshop focused on the distinctive qualities of Russian Exotic Pole — fluid transitions combined with powerful accents, dynamic movement, floorwork, and close musical connection. Students trained choreography designed to balance strength and precision with smooth, confident movement and individual expression.

The event marked a milestone for AKPole Studio as its first guest-instructor workshop and gave San Diego dancers the opportunity to train directly with Polina in one of her signature disciplines. Following the event, both the studio and Polina shared footage from the workshop, highlighting the energy of the class and the dancers’ work.
