Russian Exotic Pole Classes — Alter Ego Pole Fitness

Throughout 2023, Polina Zueva taught a series of Russian Exotic Pole classes at Alter Ego Pole Fitness & Wellness Studio in Jersey City, New Jersey. Her first class was introduced by the studio as an “Exotic Russian” session, and Polina returned for additional classes during the year, bringing her distinctive movement style to dancers in the New York–New Jersey pole community.

The classes centered on Polina’s approach to Exotic Pole, combining fluid choreography, controlled movement, heels technique, musicality, and expressive performance. Alter Ego’s emphasis on confidence, fitness, and personal expression provided a natural setting for Polina’s teaching style and gave students the opportunity to explore a more dynamic and individual approach to pole movement.

Rather than a single guest workshop, Polina’s appearances at Alter Ego developed into a recurring teaching relationship, with multiple classes documented across 2023.
