Russian Exotic Workshop — Niko’s Lair

Polina Zueva returned to Niko’s Lair A Dance & Aerial Fitness Studio in Tampa Bay as a guest instructor for a special Russian Exotic workshop. Following an earlier Russian Exotic Flow workshop at the studio in 2023, the March 2024 event continued Polina’s collaboration with the Niko’s Lair pole community and gave local dancers another opportunity to train directly with her.

The workshop explored Polina’s distinctive approach to Russian Exotic Pole, combining fluid heels-based choreography with body control, musicality, expressive movement, and dynamic accents. Her teaching approach connects technical precision with individual expression, encouraging dancers to develop both confidence and movement quality rather than simply learning a sequence of steps.

Hosted in Niko’s Lair’s energetic, performance-focused environment, the workshop brought together Polina’s Russian Exotic background and the studio’s emphasis on creativity, sensuality, strength, and confidence.
