About this workshop
Polina Zueva joined Songbird Dance Studio in San Francisco as a guest instructor for a special Exo Choreo class. The 75-minute session was part of Songbird’s specialty programming, which brings visiting instructors and different movement styles into the studio for focused pop-up classes.
The class introduced Bay Area dancers to Polina’s approach to Exotic Pole choreography, combining fluid movement, heels technique, musicality, body control, and expressive performance. Rather than focusing on isolated tricks, the choreography format emphasized how movements connect into a continuous sequence and how dancers can develop confidence and individual expression through movement.
Hosted at Songbird, a San Francisco studio centered on pole, aerial arts, dance, creativity, and inclusive community, the class formed part of Polina’s broader summer 2024 teaching period in the Bay Area.
