Exotic Tricks & Choreography — Catwoman Pole Academy

Polina Zueva joined Catwoman Pole Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a guest instructor for two special Exotic Pole sessions in April 2024. The first, an Exotic Tricks Workshop on April 7, focused on Polina’s dynamic technical vocabulary, giving students the opportunity to explore creative transitions, flips, kips, and the distinctive movement pathways used in her approach to Exotic Pole.

Polina returned to the studio on April 11 for an Exotic Choreography class, shifting the focus from individual tricks to movement, musicality, flow, and performance. Students worked with heels-based choreography designed to connect technical elements through controlled, expressive movement and build confidence in their individual dance style.

Together, the two sessions showcased both sides of Polina’s teaching: the strength and precision behind dynamic Exotic tricks and the fluidity, musical interpretation, and expression that bring those elements together in choreography.
